Dia de São Valentim
St Valentine’s Day was celebrated on 13th February at our school. Pupils from Year 5 and Year 6 took part in a very special activity filled with kindness and friendship. They wrote thoughtful messages inspired by the spirit of St Valentine’s Day and shared them with classmates, teachers and members of staff.
Throughout the day, the school was filled with smiles, kind words and heartfelt gestures of appreciation. The messages highlighted important values such as friendship, respect, gratitude and empathy, reminding everyone of the importance of caring for one another.
Activities like this play a vital role in strengthening our school community. By encouraging pupils to express positive feelings and recognise the contributions of others, we promote emotional wellbeing, mutual respect and a strong sense of belonging. Celebrating occasions such as St Valentine’s Day helps to nurture a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.
O Dia de São Valentim foi celebrado no dia 13 de fevereiro na nossa escola. Os alunos do 5.º e 6.º anos participaram numa atividade muito especial, repleta de gestos de bondade e amizade. Escreveram mensagens atenciosas, inspiradas no espírito do Dia de São Valentim, e partilharam-nas com colegas, professores, assistentes técnicos e assistentes operacionais da escola.
Ao longo do dia, a escola encheu-se de sorrisos, palavras amáveis e gestos sinceros de apreço. As mensagens destacaram valores importantes, como a amizade, o respeito, a gratidão e a empatia, recordando a todos a importância de cuidarmos uns dos outros.
Atividades como esta desempenham um papel fundamental no fortalecimento da nossa comunidade escolar. Ao incentivar os alunos a expressarem sentimentos positivos e a reconhecerem as contribuições dos outros, promovemos o bem-estar emocional, o respeito mútuo e um forte sentido de pertença.
