St Patrick’s Day
No dia 17 de março, a nossa escola assinalou o St. Patrick’s Day com uma atividade dinâmica e enriquecedora que envolveu toda a comunidade educativa. Foi organizada uma exposição dedicada à história de São Patrício, bem como aos principais símbolos associados a esta celebração, permitindo aos alunos conhecer melhor a cultura e as tradições irlandesas. Paralelamente, os alunos elaboraram e distribuíram marcadores de livro, onde incluíram uma breve descrição da vida do santo e uma frase alusiva ao tema, promovendo, assim, a partilha de conhecimento de forma criativa. A atividade decorreu com grande entusiasmo e participação, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento de competências culturais, linguísticas e sociais, e reforçando o interesse pela língua inglesa e pela diversidade cultural.
On 17 March, our school marked St Patrick’s Day with a dynamic and enriching activity that involved the entire school community. An exhibition was organised focusing on the history of Saint Patrick, as well as the main symbols associated with this celebration, allowing students to learn more about Irish culture and traditions. At the same time, students created and distributed bookmarks, which included a brief description of the saint’s life and a sentence related to the theme, thus promoting the sharing of knowledge in a creative way. The activity took place with great enthusiasm and participation, contributing to the development of cultural, linguistic and social skills, and reinforcing interest in the English language and cultural diversity.
